Attached you will find a form that will guide you to comply with Law 52 of 2016 on accounting information, as amended by Law 254 of 2021, which requires all Panamanian legal entities (companies and foundations) to send their accounting information to be kept secure by the registered agent.
The information listed in this form must be provided, by email or by courier securely stored before April 15th of each year, in order to comply with this new legislation.
**THE INFORMATION ATTACHED SHALL BE KEPT CONFIDENTIAL BY THE REGISTERED AGENT**
IN THE EVENT THAT THE ACCOUNTING INFORMATION AND SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS ARE REQUESTED BY THE COMPETENT AUTHORITY, AND THE SAME IS NOT PROVIDED TO US (RESIDENT AGENT), WHOEVER FAILS TO COMPLY SHALL BE SANCTIONED WITH A FINE OF FIVE THOUSAND US DOLLARS (US$5,000) TO ONE MILLION US DOLLARS (US$1,000,000), AS WELL AS THE SUSPENSION OF THE COMPANY.
